Giclée prints consist of a digitally captured photograph of a painting in high resolution which is then used to print an identical copy of the original. The work is printed on canvas using light fast inks with a sealed surface for protection. The printed copies do accrue status for the original piece toward greater value.These reproductions typically range in price from about $300 up to $1200 and many can be made to scale of the original art work.
